Harbor Springs MI - Toronto Canada-Palm Coast FL
May 6th 2025 to May 17th 2025
In one of our previous posts we talked about Harbor Springs. We fell in love with this charming town three years ago when our friends Sheryl and Ralph introduced us to their summer paradise. We were able to spend a week at our friend’s place. We enjoyed every minute of it even though it was a bit colder than what we are used to. Florida spoiled. :) My hubby in his favorite spot at Piersons bar!!

From Harbor Springs we drove eight hours to Toronto Canada to visit my beautiful mom. We took mom on her very FIRST GO train ride to downtown Toronto. We walked along Harbor Front, had a quick lunch, went on a boat ride to Toronto Islands then back home with the GO Train. My mom absolutely loved her day of Adventure.
The Toronto Islands are a group of 15 small islands located in Lake Ontario, just off the coast of downtown Toronto. They are easily accessible by a 15-minute ferry ride. The islands offer a variety of attractions and activities, making them a popular destination for both tourists and locals.

Our visit to Toronto was short but sweet. We had a great time catching up with my mom and spending time with Paul’s sister and her family. After that, we headed back to Harbor Springs to pick up our RV, which had been stored there for the winter. On the way back to Florida, we stopped in to visit our friends Greg and Sue, who recently settled into a beautiful new home at the Palm Coast in Florida—lucky them!
Palm Coast, Florida, is a popular choice for many due to its pleasant climate, diverse outdoor activities, and well-planned community, offering a tranquil and comfortable living environment, especially for those seeking a quieter lifestyle

Our trip home was great and our RV hummed along just beautifully. It has been so much fun traveling and seeing amazing places in the US and Canada over the past four years with our “Yolo” (You only live once) aka RV. We met amazing people, learned a lot, saw more than we ever hoped for and made lifelong friends.
Now it’s time for us to sell our beautiful RV and start working on our International bucket list items. It's bittersweet however for us at this stage in our life it makes sense while we physically able and healthy.

Our little Edelweiss (Jeep Wrangler) already sold to a really nice couple who owns the same brand RV (LTV) we have. She looked good behind their RV. Safe travels and Happy Adventures to Jackie and Frank.

Buccee’s !! My Husband’s absolute favorite place to stop. A must do!!
Buc-ee’s facts:
Buc-ee's Holdings, Inc., commonly referred to as Buc-ee's, is an American chain of country stores, gas stations, and electric vehicle chargers created and owned by Arch "Beaver" Aplin III, headquartered in Lake Jackson, a city south of Houston.
Buc-ee's is a Texas-based convenience store chain that has gained immense popularity due to its clean restrooms, high-quality food, and extensive selection of goods. It's essentially a "mini-Walmart" for gas stations, offering everything from snacks and drinks to home goods and clothing
All Buc-ee's travel centers include 80 to 120 gas pumps. As of July 2024, Buc-ee's has 50 active locations across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, Colorado, and Texas.
Buc-ee's, particularly the Sevierville location, typically sees 20,000+ visitors per day. A study in Warner Robins, Georgia, showed an average of 7,300 cars per day during a normal week, with that number climbing to over 11,700 cars per day during a holiday week. These numbers are a testament to the popularity of Buc-ee's, which has become a significant draw for travelers and locals alike
Buc-ee's uses a beaver mascot and logo because Buc-ee's founder, Arch "Aplin III," was nicknamed "Beaver" as a child. He combined his nickname with the name of his dog, Buck, to create the name "Buc-ee's". The beaver mascot is a visual representation of this nickname and the company's name

We have a lot planned over the next two years thanks to my travel planner (my hubby) We are blessed and we don’t take any of it for granted. Very grateful for our family, friends, our health and the ability to travel after many years of hard work. Stay tuned for more as we begin our next travel Adventures.. xoxoxo
